eggs, greek yogurt, flour, sugar and baking powder This is the fluffiest cake we’ve ever made
INGREDIENTS:
- 4 eggs
- 200g Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
METHOD:
- Preheat your oven to 170°C (340°F) and grease a cake pan.
- In a bowl, separate the egg yolks from the whites.
- Mix the egg yolks with sugar until well combined.
- Add Greek yogurt to the egg yolk mixture and mix until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, sift together flour and baking powder.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the egg yolk mixture, stirring until smooth.
- In another clean bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the batter until fully incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, slice and serve. Enjoy your fluffy cake!
