Chopped peanuts for extra texture
-
A pinch of sea salt for topping
Instructions
-
Prepare the Pan
Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Set aside. -
Melt Butter and Peanut Butter
In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and peanut butter together, stirring constantly until smooth and fully combined. Do not boil. -
Add Vanilla
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. -
Mix in Sugar
Gradually add the powdered sugar and salt, stirring until the mixture is thick, smooth, and glossy. Work quickly, as the fudge will start to set. -
Set the Fudge
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly with a spatula. Tap the pan gently on the counter to remove air bubbles. -
Chill
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm. -
Slice and Serve
Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment paper and cut into small squares.
