Reese’s Peanut Butter Earthquake Cake

1 box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 cup powdered sugar

8 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup butter, melted

1 tsp vanilla extract

1½ cups mini Reese’s cups, chopped

1 cup chocolate chips (optional but recommended)

½ cup peanut butter chips (optional)
🥣 Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. -
Prepare cake batter according to the package directions and pour it evenly into the pan.

Make the peanut butter swirl
In a bowl, mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, cream cheese, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth. -
Assemble

Spoon the peanut butter mixture randomly over the cake batter.

Sprinkle Reese’s pieces, chocolate chips, and peanut butter chips over the top.

Lightly swirl with a knife (don’t overmix).
