Ingredients

  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • ¾ cup brown sugar

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 box (3.4 oz) instant banana pudding mix (dry)

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1¾ cups all-purpose flour

  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

  • 1 cup crushed vanilla wafer cookies

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Mix in the dry banana pudding mix, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  4. Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix just until combined.

  5. Fold in white chocolate chips and crushed vanilla wafers.

  6. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.

  7. Bake for 9–11 minutes, until edges are set and centers are still soft.

  8. Allow cookies to cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Tips and Variations

  • Do not overbake; the cookies firm up as they cool.

  • For extra banana flavor, add ¼ teaspoon banana extract.

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
