Honey Garlic Ribs

Description:
Honey garlic ribs are tender, fall-off-the-bone ribs coated in a sticky, sweet, and savory honey garlic sauce. Slow-cooked or baked until perfectly juicy, then glazed for a rich finish, these ribs are a crowd-pleasing favorite for family dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 2 racks pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Honey Garlic Sauce

  • ½ cup honey

  • ¼ cup soy sauce

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons ketchup

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).

  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

  3. Place ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet and cover tightly with foil.

  4. Bake for 2½–3 hours until ribs are very tender.

  5. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, ketchup, brown sugar, and vinegar. Simmer 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.

  6. Remove ribs from oven and increase temperature to 400°F (205°C).

  7. Brush ribs generously with honey garlic sauce.

  8. Return ribs to oven uncovered and bake 10–15 minutes, brushing once more, until glazed and caramelized.

  9. Rest 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Tips and Variations

  • Grill ribs for the final glaze instead of baking for a smoky finish.

  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.

  • Serve with coleslaw or cornbread.
