Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps

Posted on January 15, 2026 By admin No Comments on Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps

Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are a quick, satisfying meal packed with bold flavor and melty goodness. Tender, seasoned chicken is cooked until golden, then wrapped in warm flour tortillas with creamy garlic sauce and a blend of cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Toasted until crisp on the outside and gooey on the inside, these wraps are perfect for lunch, dinner, or a hearty snack.

Simple ingredients and fast cooking make this recipe ideal for busy weeknights, while the rich garlic-cheese combination keeps everyone coming back for more.

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 2 large chicken breasts, diced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Wrap Assembly

  • 4 large flour tortillas

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup creamy garlic sauce

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Season the Chicken

Place the diced chicken in a large bowl. Add olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the chicken is evenly coated.

Step 2: Cook the Chicken

Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and fully cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3: Assemble the Wraps

Lay the tortillas flat on a clean surface. Spread about 2 tablespoons of creamy garlic sauce down the center of each tortilla.

Evenly divide the cooked chicken among the tortillas. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese.

Step 4: Toast Until Crispy

Fold the sides of each tortilla inward to secure the filling. Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet over medium heat.

Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and crispy and the cheese has melted.

Step 5: Serve

Remove from the skillet, slice diagonally, and garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately while hot and cheesy.

Tips & Variations

  • Extra flavor: Add crushed red pepper flakes or smoked paprika

  • Different cheese: Try pepper jack, Colby Jack, or provolone

  • Protein swap: Use cooked rotisserie chicken or grilled chicken thighs

  • Make it spicy: Add hot sauce or sliced jalapeños to the filling

Serving Suggestions

Serve these wraps with:

  • French fries or potato wedges

  • A simple side salad

  • Coleslaw or roasted vegetables

Storage & Reheating

  • Refrigerator: Store wrapped leftovers up to 3 days

  • Reheat: Warm in a skillet or air fryer to keep the tortilla crisp
