Homemade garden vegetable spread is a fresh, savory blend of finely chopped vegetables mixed with creamy cheese and herbs. It’s perfect as a sandwich spread, cracker topping, or dip, and a great way to use up fresh garden vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt

  • ½ cup finely chopped carrots

  • ½ cup finely chopped celery

  • ¼ cup finely chopped red or green bell pepper

  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley or dill, chopped

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.

  2. Stir in mayonnaise or Greek yogurt until creamy.

  3. Add carrots, celery, bell pepper, onion, and herbs.

  4. Season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  5. Mix well until evenly combined.

  6. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour to allow flavors to blend.

  7. Serve chilled.


Serving Ideas and Variations

  • Spread on sandwiches, wraps, or bagels.

  • Serve with crackers, pita chips, or fresh vegetables.

  • Add finely chopped cucumber or zucchini for extra freshness.

  • Mix in shredded cheddar or parmesan for a cheesy version.
