Loaded Deviled Eggs

Description:
Loaded deviled eggs are a creamy, savory twist on the classic appetizer, packed with flavors inspired by a loaded baked potato. Rich, tangy, and topped with crispy bacon and cheese, they’re always a hit at parties, holidays, and family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 12 large eggs

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard

  • 1 tablespoon sour cream

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions or chives

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then cover, remove from heat, and let sit for 10–12 minutes.

  2. Transfer eggs to an ice bath to cool completely. Peel.

  3. Slice eggs in half lengthwise and remove yolks to a bowl.

  4. Mash yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, sour cream, salt, and pepper until smooth.

  5. Spoon or pipe yolk mixture back into egg whites.

  6. Sprinkle tops with shredded cheese, crumbled bacon, and green onions.

  7. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Tips and Variations

  • Add a pinch of garlic powder or paprika for extra flavor.

  • Use pepper jack cheese for a spicy twist.

  • These can be made a few hours ahead and kept refrigerated.
