Peanut Butter Fritos Candy

Posted on January 14, 2026 By admin No Comments on Peanut Butter Fritos Candy

This Peanut Butter Fritos Candy is the ultimate salty-sweet treat. Often called a “homemade Butterfinger,” it combines the crunch of Fritos with creamy peanut butter and sweet sugar syrup for a uniquely addictive texture. Perfect as a no-bake dessert for anyone who loves a touch of savory in their sweets.

Peanut Butter Fritos Candy

Ingredients

Base & Binder

Ingredient Amount

Fritos corn chips 9 oz bag

Peanut butter 1 cup

Light corn syrup 1 cup

Granulated sugar 1 cup

Topping (Optional)

Ingredient Amount

Semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 cup

Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Pan

Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread the Fritos in an even layer to cover the bottom completely.

Step 2: Heat the Syrup

In a large microwave-safe bowl, whisk together the corn syrup and sugar. Microwave on high for 1 minute and stir. Repeat in 1-minute increments (about 3 minutes total) until the mixture reaches a rolling boil.

Step 3: Add the Peanut Butter

Carefully remove the hot syrup from the microwave. Immediately stir in the peanut butter until smooth and fully combined.

Step 4: Combine with Fritos

Pour the hot peanut butter mixture over the Fritos. Work quickly to coat as many chips as possible. Do not stir the chips, as this will crush them—let the syrup seep in naturally.

Step 5: Set and Add Chocolate (Optional)

Allow the candy to cool at room temperature for 1 hour. If adding chocolate, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second microwave intervals until smooth. Spread evenly over the cooled peanut butter layer.

Step 6: Slice and Serve

Once the chocolate is set (chill for 15–20 minutes to speed up), cut into squares or bars and enjoy!
