Pineapple Brown Sugar Mississippi Lil’ Smokies Bites

Pineapple brown sugar Mississippi lil’ smokies bites are sweet, savory, and irresistibly sticky appetizers made with smoky sausage, juicy pineapple, and a rich brown sugar glaze. They’re easy to make and perfect for parties, potlucks, or game-day snacking.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (14 oz) Lil’ Smokies sausages

  • 1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks, drained

  • ¾ cup brown sugar

  • ½ cup unsalted butter

  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • Toothpicks (optional, for serving)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.

  2. Arrange Lil’ Smokies and pineapple chunks evenly in the baking dish.

  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and stir in brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder until smooth.

  4. Pour the sauce evenly over the sausages and pineapple.

  5. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until bubbly and glazed.

  6. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving. Insert toothpicks if desired.


Tips and Variations

  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a sweet-heat version.

  • These can be made in a slow cooker on low for 2–3 hours.

  • Serve warm for best flavor.
